Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences ( ITP- CAS ) is going to recruit a permanent faculty position in gravitational theory and cosmology.

1、post : Associate professor or professor

2、requirements：

(1) Conduct research projects independently. Interdisciplinary area is encouraged. Play an active role in KITPC-CAS and Key Laboratory of Frontiers in Theoretical Physics.

(2) PhD in theoretical physics; no more than 40 years old; at least 4 years postdoctoral or research experiences.

5、Brief Introductions of ITP- CAS

The Institute of Theoretical Physics, founded in June 1978, focuses its research emphasis on the main fundamental areas of theoretical physics. It first launched its postdoctoral program in China in 1984. It became the first few“open” institutions of CAS opening to home and abroad in 1985. It was chosen by TWAS as the excellent center of the association and cooperation plan in 1993. It is one of the first twelve institutions at CAS to implement PPKIP since 1998. It was selected as the training center for scholarship winners of CAS and TWAS in 2004. It was awarded as the excellent Post- doctoral Research Center of China in 2005. Based on ITP, the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITPC) was established in 2006. The Key Laboratory of Frontiers in Theoretical Physics was established in ITP in 2008.
