The Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS), School of Life Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and School of Physics, Northwest University (NWU) will host the annual International Workshop on "Soft Matter and Biophysics Theories". The workshop brings together leading theoretical and computational researchers around the world, as well as a few experimentalists, to discuss latest advances in soft matter and biophysics.  

The aim of the workshop is to promote interactions and collaborations among scientists working on related areas. The major topics of this year include  

　　1. Information processing in neural networks 

　　2. Active matter  

　　3. Systems biology& Bioinformatics.
